I think this is a fantastic cover: it brings in the dark, dangerous
elements, the red-hot, sensuality between Reno and Calen. It also brings in the elements of the Warriors of the Light, which is symbolized by their birthmark of the Vesica Piscis on the back of their neck, just as
Calen, our heroine, in the book cover!

Tell all! Thank you!That said, I have been waiting over a decade to spring this new saga on you! I fact, working quietly on it for the last three years between other book projects. I've envisioned a new family, much like Morgan Trayhern's family dynasty--only this one is a metaphysically based one. I know that 'paranormal' is the buzz word today but in my world, as a shaman coming from a family of shamans via my Eastern Cherokee roots, it was simply called 'metaphysics.' Interesting how words and labels evolve over time and generations!
I want to introduce you to book one, UNFORGIVEN and let you discover Reno and Calen. These are metaphysicians. And like all metaphysicians, they have paranormal skills and talents in place. These two brave and courageous people are going to be part of the foundation of creating a new family dynasty that will move forward from the present and into our future. And their mission and story is going to underline the chaos that has our world by the throat today. But Reno and Calen see how things can be different--and in a positive, healing way, for Mother Earth and 'all her relations' which includes you and me as well.
In these books, I intend to share actual metaphysical 'tools' that I was taught and grew up with in my family with you. I urge you to try them out and see what happens! Of course, they are all positive and uplifting and help us, as human beings, to become better in all ways within ourselves and with one another. While you may learn quilting, crocheting or knitting patterns from other books and authors, the series, Warriors for the Light, will give you new patterns to try on and wear! Only, these are the tools used by metaphysicians like myself. They are positive, healing and growth oriented. The Vesica Piscis is the first of these tools that I grew up with and have used in meditation almost daily for most of my life. I would like to think that this incredible, ageless symbol can give you gifts as it has given me. There's no reason it won't!
So, sit back, enjoy a great story and let me introduce you to my next dynasty and family--only they aren't mercenaries--they are a broader family concept fighting for peace on earth for the next one thousand years. Read the books of this ongoing series and find out how they accomplish this--one step at a time. And you just might find new ways to connect with the everyday magic that is around us--and have fun doing it! Change the pattern of your life in the most healthy sense and way. And by the way, did you know that ALL humans are metaphysicians? We ALL have psychic skills in place. Our 'sixth sense' is that ability.
