Hard Shell Word
Factory
Hard Shell Word Factory is my E-book and POD (print on
demand/trade paperback) books. Right now, I have VALKYRIE, but
CODE OF SILENCE is
coming along (I hope, November 2002 if all goes well). Mary Wolf is the owner and I
just dearly love her little turtle people. Plus, you will get introduce to many,
many wonderful E-book writers who have great stories that I just know will interest
you--so spend some time looking around this great website.
Romantic Times
Magazine Kathryn Falk (Lady Barrow) and I go waaaayyyy back to 1982, when I first
entered writing in 1981. She has been mentor, guide, guardian angel, critique, idea
and market person par excellence, and above all, a cherished friend. I love her
magazine! I also love planning on going to her yearly conventions....it is a time to
have fun and meet my readers and find out what is in their minds and hearts about the
stories I'm writing now, and in the future. You don't get any better than this
magazine.
Harlequin
Harlequin is a great website that offers a lot of everything for everyone....and since it
is my "home" (I write for Silhouette), you can also find a lot of other favorite
authors bios there, as well as what is coming out now and in the near future. They
are always having fun with new contests and such...so, check back with them often!
Military
Women's Website Military Women's Site is a personal favorite of mine. Captain Barb
was a mustang (enlisted) and then went on to become an officer. She's a cool lady
with a site that I recommend if you're going to be writing about women in the
military--she's got the dope, as we say!
Books from
the Heart Books from the Heart is exactly that. Great for reviews on your
favorite authors.
http://www.chrisperrons.comThis is Chris Perron's
website and I just love his face! He's a cover model I met at the Romantic
Times Convention, Orlando, Florida, 2001. His wife, Cyndi, and Chris, are
going to be bringing one of my books to life at Romantic Times Conference, Reno,
Nevada, October 22-28, 2002!
(Photographer: Captain Steve Keating, US Army
reserves, Signal Corps.)
Chris
will become Chief Warrant Officer Joe Calhoun, Boeing Apache gunship pilot, from
DESTINY'S
WOMAN (Akiva Redtail's story, March, 2002). His wife, Cyndi, is going to transform
herself into Akiva! Both are actors. So, this ought to be fantastic!
Stay tune for more news along this line in our NEWS box! In the meantime, enjoy
Chris who has a face filled with wonderful character....just like Joe Calhoun! When I saw
Chris at the model pagent, it rocked me because I thought: "There's Joe
Calhoun!" He looks EXACTLY as I imagined him in my creative mind! And to
see the real one....well....wow....cool beans....
